Government
of Gujarat provides 2000 monthly assistance to children
The Gujarat
government will provide a monthly financial aid of 2,000 to children who have
lost a parent to COVID-19.
The
financial assistance would be provided under Mukhya Mantri Bal Seva Yojna.
The scheme would be launched
on 2 Aug'21, wherein the money would be transferred to the bank accounts of
these children.
Uttar
Pradesh to give Rs 2,500 per month to children
Uttar
Pradesh cabinet has given Rs 2,500 per month to children below the age of 18
years who have lost their parents due to reasons other than COVID - 19 under
the Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General) The proposal to provide financial assistance
of Rs.
The Cabinet
also decided that monetary assistance will be given to adults between the ages
of 18 and 23 who have lost their parents or guardians due to COVID-19.
Scheme
for Orphan Children: Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched 'Vatsalya Yojana' scheme for
the welfare of children affected by death of guardian due to COVID-19 or other
diseases. Under this scheme,
the
beneficiary children will get Rs 3,000 per month.
Financial as
well as education and health facilities will be provided to all the beneficiary
children of Hayata.
